I work with a girl who wears a hearing aid. She’s told me how expensive they are and how insurance doesn’t cover much of the cost. And they don’t last long!
It’s nice for the kids at Head Start to see them, but hopefully you find some one who can really use them.
There must be a school for deaf kids around.

Have you tried phoning stores that sell hearing aids? That’s what I would do.
