It’s amazing, isn’t it? I watch this video and I can see how totally wordless my daughter was at that time. Now everything has a name, even abstract concepts and feelings; she can really express herself! I can’t believe it’s only been 13 months since she got those aids.

the girl is so cute. I wear hearing aids also for both ears and i am hard of hearing. It is tough and I wish that they had hard of hearing street signs also.

You mean, don’t hear? Yes, I understand that giving up the quiet and putting on hearing aids can be annoying, maddening, a sacrifice made for the convenience of others or the demands of communication. They’re not the magic wand I once thought they would be, but they have a place in the life of a child learning to speak and understand spoken language. And they look so cute in bright pink!

I mean that deaf/Deaf/hard of hearing people are happy. You dont have to be hearing or be like hearing to be happy.
