TV Ears Wireless Speaker System Review

This actually works better than I thought it would. (I was skeptical.) My husband has it situated right next to his chair. Usually, we can listen just to this speaker in place of the TV speakers. I purchased the Plantronics Explorer 370 from HassleFreeCell through Amazon. When it arrived, it was defective. It would not charge. Hoping I could just return it and receive a replacement, I called the HassleFree service number that was on my invoice. They were very nice, but said that there were no more of these bluetooths available and to return the defective one for a refund. They e-mailed a paid postage return label and I returned it the next day. That was over a month ago and I haven’t received a refund or heard from them. I e-mailed the service dept. and received an automatic acknowlegment, but no answer or refund. I guess I’m just
out and some change. I have made other purchases from Amazon without any problems.

The Plantronics Explorer 370 is an excellent Bluetooth. I purchased another one from Office Depot on line.

I bought this for my wife after she had lost the retaining piece from an expensive piece of crap from Verizon. This set works very well and has good noise immunity. She has had a problem with headsets and earpieces while driving. Apparently, federal regulations don’t allow them to put out enough volume to hear over road noise. I’m guessing that they don’t use their own products. I can’t use them because I have diminished hearing and can’t make out the conversation.

Overall, this is a good set. The battery life is good, it’s rugged enough to survive her purse and she can hear while driving, which is why we bought it. The price that I paid was very good too. Of course, I don’t mind paying for something of quality that does what I need, either.

I ordered this for my father and it is wonderful. He can now watch tv without killing our ears and we can talk now not yell so he can hear us. Also the first one we get had a defect so I was a bit disappointed. I called the # to the company and they were great. I called, they said we will send u a new one & that was it. Two days later we got the new one and it worked!

I received this promply by mail and followed the directions to plug in for 12 hours before using. It worked one time and did amplify but when i recharged the unit it will not go on. It is not worth the effort for the guarantee as they want you to mail it back so you can have it replaced.

Serves me right…I praised the device right out of the box..During the first trial 15 minutes, it worked great. Then, following the instructions, I charged it up for 12 hours. That was it. Could never get it to turn on after that..IntelliEar died..nada..nothing..I read similar stories so something is definately defective with these things and ASIS (the company that makes them) should pay attention. Should have known it was junk just by the name of the company ‘ASIS’..Also, fyi..the manufacturer doesn’t offer a warranty. The instruction book tells you not to send it back to them. They want you send it back to where ever it was purchased. What does that tell you about their confidence in their own product? I’ll try another product and hope for better luck!

I bought 2 state of the art hearing aids from beltone some 6 years ago at the cost of ,300 for both. one got broken in my pocket and the other stopped working . So I took it to a beltone dealer and he looked it over then called the main company it seems the opra model I had gotten had been discontinued for months prior to me getting them looked at. When I got them they were a new line and now they can’t fix them this really stinks since they were a new line when I first got them I will never recomend Beltone to anyone just because of my experance with them. I can’t wait till the ones I just ordered get here . I spent enough on what was suposed to be execlent quality that a reptibale company won’t stand behind there ,300.00 hearing aids screw them !
